Here is my reflection for the stem animation .

The thing i liked about this task is the it taught me more things about scratch , So in the future when I need to do something like that i will know how to do it.

The thing i did not like about this task was that some of the instructions were wrong. That's why I added my own instructions to it .

The thing that was challenging was trying not to click the green flag , because when i would click it , it would delete all my sprites.

The two learning muscles i think i used were capitalizing and absorption.
I used capitalizing by capitalizing in my time and not talking to anyone.
And I used absorption by getting very very absorbed in  it.

Name of problem: Rimu soccer  championship

Describe the problem: Rimu are going to have a soccer championship starting next Monday. Your task is to design the format of the competition. The group with the best designed competition will be chosen to be used! You need: 82 children need to be divided equally into teams. (You can use remainders) Each team must play each team You must have a way of tracking the team's’ results You need to have play offs scheduled for the last Friday of the term. Things to think about… How many teams will you have?  4 teams How many players in each team? 20 people in each team and 2 remainder How long will each match be? 30 min How will you make sure you fit in every team playing every team? How many matches will be played each day? 1 match played each day How will you decide the play offs?

Describe how you used 2 learning muscles: Absorption : in the maths section when we were doing maths, we were very absorbed and that is one of the key reasons why we got this done. Revising : we were revising the question then putting them on docs to show our working out for the task . Capitalising : we were very very capitalising in our time , i know that because we got the maths work done very very quickly .  photo of the task

Rapunzel

Lot’s of people think of the famous fairy tale called Rapunzel . But has anyone ever heard the real one probably not. But today I will be telling you the real story, here we go then .

Deep in the days of long long there lived a beautiful princess named Rapunzel. She was the queen of Rapunzel Hills, located in the North of Toyworld. She was also very very nice to her people. But one day a mad scientist called Jordan Sheardown came into town. For the first couple of days he was in downhill at the science lab, he made around 10 people savacate and die because of hair disease potions. The queen finally noticed that he had to be stopped. So she sent a messenger to go to the center of toyworld . Kings land, the most secure place in the whole world. No one would ever want to go there but the queen demanded that the messenger to go.  One another reason is that the messenger did not want to go is because there are over 6 billions armed professional Knights and aircraft bombs. When the messenger came back he came with a person , he said that the King of central toyworld said that this is the strongest  Knight . The Knight came and  went to the the headquarters of the mad scientist. When he arrived there he demanded for a cure for the  people. He replies with a yes. The Rapunzel said to the Knight that can you please stay here for one night. He replied and said yes. The next morning the queen had the longest hair in the world . She demanded the Knight to come as quick as he could to her castle. When he arrived he was  very very surprised . They knew that the Jordan Sheardown had something to do with it. So the Knight went to the lab of the Jordan Sheardown. The knight was so furious that he broke the door down. He was furious and he beat up jordan. He demanded the scientist to make a cure for the potion that was given to the queen. He replied yes and made it in one minute . The knight took the cure and gave it to Rapunzel. And the the cure actually worked the mad scientist was kicked out of the city and they lived happily ever after. And they lived happily ever after.

maori weaving

Maori Art weaving Paper

First you have to get two pieces of paper. Secondly you have to put it in portrait. Then colour it in with any colour you like, then do it to the other piece of paper. Then when you have done that you have to measure some small strips, going down portrait ways. Then you do that to both of the paper. When done you have to cut the strips out.  Then place one paper pair of strips down close to each other. Then you do under over and under over on the strips . when you hit the ends you will be able to see that there are strips that are folding out . You want to fold them under the paper and then glue them. Then that is your Maori paper weave.
